so yeah, great day today...Took my boss up on that offer of a half day today, so that was sweet. I took the first half of the day off. Slept in till 10:30 and then went in...though i got into it and ended up staying till like 630 or 7, but yeah, i got to sleep in, woop. Tonight was a blast. Went to open mic night with the intention of playing some bad rendition of smoke on the water, but ended up playing 3 originals with Hook about random stuff such as burritos and my room, holy crap, that was fun as hell. Kinda terrified everyone, but who cares, i had fun. Nothing like whipping out the old verse chorus verse verse verse freestyle jam chorus, chorus, chorus, verse-chorus. Yeah,so i'm terrible. c'est la vie. that was the most fun i've had in a while. Plus there were some really good singers, musicians, and even human turntables.. Something about the ringing in your ears after you've been listening to loud music, it's such a good feeling. And I'm spent....

rrr..dammit...really quality post that i'd written up for yesterday got deleted. Dammit. I gotta wonder what's up with blogger.
No OSU this weekend, stayed home and studied and went to the white rose LCA formal, sounds like i didn't miss much...not drinking makes parties where you don't know anyone at a school you're never going back to kind of a bore...
So it looks like I may very well be entitled a "research assistant" at work. I always thought i was a research tech, but oh well. Irregardless, my ID badge is being made and if they decide to go with research assistant, it's abbreviated "Research Ass" on the badge. That could be kinda fun. I mess up and just point at my badge, "don't blame me, i'm just an ass" Hrrmm.. not a whole huge ammount of life going on outsida work right now..I strangely enjoy putting in 10+ hours a day I guess just cause i'm bored elsewhere. And learning a lot at work. I made a powerpoint today. It's wicked animated too. Learned some cool stuff from the boss yesterday and implemented it today.

Finished off the day with Pete's workout program which is lethal, I'm looking forward to not being able to move my upper body tomorrow...Oh well, hopefully i'll be a computer jockey tomorrow too.
