Jesus! Last time i typed in here i had been up all night and psychotic, kinda cool to look back on that. So anyways, i'm way more rested now, and reeking of cigarrette smoke after my first venture to the bar all term. Rube's was alright, i could see how it could be way more fun when i'm 21, but regardless i had an alright time. Choppers won their first game in the softball playoffs with yours truly catching. That was kinda interesting. Onto the next round where i won't be playing. Stupid playing to win. I'll get to spectate at least. Hmm, whatelse, oh yeah, i watched American History X again. I keep getting reminded that it's like one of the most impressive movies i've ever seen. It's not necessarily the best acting, cinematography, or anything like that, it's just that the story really gets to me everytime, you can't really forget that sort of thing. And the message that you just don't have time for hate is such a great thought. Kinda sums up what i've been getting at for a while. That's all for now. Cheers.

Sweet daddy jones!!! It's really really late or early depending upon your orientation. I'm completely and utterly wired; but for necessity, paper due monday(hey, that's today) So yeah, the weird twitchyness set in and so i thought i'd kill it by typing hella fast on blogger and updating it and stuff. And so anyways, i'm typing like mad, making page upon page of report that doesn't really mean anything. It's a discourse analysis of a thesis to prepare us to write ours. We have to analyze the technique of a thesis we pick up in the library. Check out how i can turn something as meaningless as discoures analysis into an entire paragraph of meaningless drivel, it's a marketable skill really;

The introduction of the thesis provides adequate information to understand the rest of the thesis. It provides background information that allows the reader to almost instantly identify the problem and sparks an interest in the reader. The introduction also provides the objective of the thesis and the significance of the problem. The author provided the scope of the project as well as its limitations. The glossary (definition of terms) proved very useful in increasing this thesis’ readability. It clearly identifies not only what some terms mean, but also the orientation and location of some parts. The author also previews the report, detailing how the thesis is organized, so that the reader is able to more easily navigate the large volume of text.

In my caffeine addled mind it seems to work. Oh well, we'll find out when i hand it in later today. To quote BNL: "Who Needs Sleep??"

Wow, it's a saturday night/sunday morning, and i'm doing homework. I actually did all of my thermo hw due tuesday. That's right, 2 days ahead. When was the last time that happened? So yeah, the weekend seems to be holding less and less for me every week, so i figured why not take advantage of my normally unproductive, occasionally boring, 48 hours of freedom granted every week. You ever wonder what's up, drawing conclusion after conclusion, and not exactly be proven wrong, but at least made to doubt those very same conclusions that you've been stewing over for hours? Yeah, it happens a lot for me too. Hmm..I don't know, sometimes I just need to headbutt a wall and tell myself to stop thinking. Anywho, I managed to fit a nap into my day today and it was great. I think i should start some sort of rating system. Similar to siskel and ebert, but instead of rating movies based on quality, i'd rate them on ability to take a nap while watching them. 2 thumbs up if i was out before the opening credits were over sort of thing. 2 thumbs down if there's any sort of jarring sounds that could interfere with my reverie. Friday night i managed to get my jam on with brandon. In a church of all places. Me on my stratocaster into an amp larger than mine and Hook on his drumset resplendent with his new cymbals. Nothing like Smoke on the Water in a church. No i didn't play any satanic shit, although i did manage to play a lot of secular stuff. To all my friends, sorry i wasn't oot and aboot this weekend, but skool calls. Cheers.
