Well it's saturday and it sucks, I haven't done a whole lot yet, just spinning my wheels on this crazy heat transfer project for the past 4 hours today and 5 or 6 last night. what a pleasant way to waste half a weekend.
Well here's the recap folks: Last wednesday got flown down to Indiana to meet the guy that sponsors my co-op job. So he flies me, my counterpart, my boss and my bosses boss down to Warsaw Indiana on their private jet. Holy crap, we got there in like 25 minutes. i guess Mach .8 will do that to a trip. Then we go down and meet this guy; the CEO. He's a Kettering grad(whoop whoop) and so he's all about the co-op program. But anyways, he treats us all to breakfast, then gives us all this neat promo stuff. Then we talk about what we've been doing and then ask him for some money. He then agrees to it. So basically the program i've been part of will now go on in perpetuity even after i leave. Then he takes us over to his garage and shows us his private car collection which includes a Shelby Series 1, among probably 30 other wicked cool cars that even myself as a non car-appreciator thought was rocking. So yeah that was an awesome day.
No word on the MCAT's yet, took them in mid august, but won't hear back for probably a month. Hopefully soon though.
Looks like I'm going to be taking a lot of classes during my work term. Community college courses and whatnot. Who'd have thought, an engineering degree doesn't prepare you for med school??
Kettering is going to be introducing a new Med School advisement program in order to inform students as to what they need to do in order to be ready for the med school. It sounds like i'm going to be the first advisor for that until they hire an actual med school advisor. I'm looking forward to that. Ketteirng doesn't have anything as far as med school info is concerned, so it'll be nice to be able to help out younger students who are interested in pursuing a medical future. Look for a web page in the future....

The rents are officially west viriginians; The house is empty. The trailer is full. hehe

Well that's all I've got. I think i'm gonna go do something non-educational for a while.

Cheers

Currently Listening: The Notwist-the entire Neon Golden album on repeat for like the 6th time today....
